Weddings

Before receiving the sacrament of marriage, couples are to enroll for the Kana Course at least two years prior to getting married. In addition, six months prior to the marriage, couples should attend a seminar.

Couples who wish to get married at the Holy Family Chapel, which is situated at the Centre itself, are kindly asked to speak to Fr Ray to book their marriage date. Preferably, one should send an email or an sms to confirm the chapel’s availability and later set an appointment to fill in the necessary forms.

At Sghajtar’s Pastoral Centre, marriage celebrations are held on Fridays (except on the first Friday of the month), on Saturdays after 7.15pm or on Sundays after 11.15am and in the afternoons. On national and public holidays (those which do not oblige Mass attendance), marriage celebrations can be held from 10.15am onwards, including afternoons. However, the Sunday schedule should be followed on those holidays which require Mass attendance.
